I used to log my life…
June 10, 2005 – 5:49 pmI wonder if I went back and read the stats for all of my past websites if they all were the same. I start out posting a few times a week.. trail of to missing my first week, then almost my first month. There’s been so much I haven’t talked about, yet I haven’t really had the time to enter it all in.
I think I can attribute this to a few things, one of which being that I have lots of friends down here where when first moved here, I really didn’t hang around anyone. The weather is so much nicer as well so I find myself always out cruising around with friends. We’ve done lots of bbqing as well as other things. It’s been close to a month since I’ve been back to Duluth, if not longer and I miss my friends there. It’s like Minneapolis has its hooks into my schedule now and I can’t break away because something or another *always* comes up. I’m back to having no free time, yet enjoying it.
My car is running again, I actually finally put it on the dyno. I put down 174.9 whp with just the supercharger and 208.2 whp on the nitrous. I was pleased with these numbers, if I ever have money to put into my car again I should be able to hit 240 whp (no nitrous) before I have to park my car.
As far as music goes, I’ve been spinning lots of music as planned. The sushi bar never panned out but that’s not too bad. I’ve been getting so much better its starting to scare me. I almost feel as if I’ve spun on turntables for years. Mixes come together as if I spent time meticulously planning each one and where they should come together. I’ve also developed my own style of mixing. I’ve stuck mostly with lots of disco and funk house. Yeah I know it’s all confusing when i put it that way. If you want to get a good idea, check out Iskur’s Guide to Electronic Music. Go to House and from there browse the funk blob. I also dabble around with some other miscellaneous genres but for the most part, you now know where I’m at.
I have plenty more things I can say, but I have to head out of work here in a couple minutes and I need to finish some things up. I’ll try to have some coherent post about friends, maybe some pictures from Minneapolis, and I’ll share with you my new hero.

Shhhh! I told you that I want to be anonymous. Just because I’m your hero doesn’t mean it needs to be advertised!
Keep spinning. Get as good as DJ Goofy White Kid and maybe you too can make it to the big scene!
Later dog. And don’t spray the bottle too much…
